This multiple polymer extruded, high tensile strength Shock Tube ‘factory floor ready’ for final assembly onto elemented and loaded delay non-electric detonators. The Shock Tube is ready for use in semi-automated or robotically controlled Non-Electric Detonator Assembly Equipment.  The interior walls of the Shock Tube are coated with a thin layer of energetic materials that transmit explosives energy at a rate of approximately 2,000 meters per second. Once initiated, the shock tube transmits a signal to the Non-Electric Detonator with precise millisecond or instantaneous firing time.

The Non-Electric Detonator is a component that is coupled with Shock Tube in an explosives train that when initiated causes the detonation of a less sensitive, but substantially large explosive such as a booster to initiate booster sensitive explosives, or the main charge in the case of detonator sensitive explosives. Non-Electric Shock Tube is a linear transmission device designed to transmit an energetic signal through shock tube to a specific detonating output. Shock tube is a hollow extruded tube containing a thin layer of energetic material on its inner walls.Shock-Tube is a flexible extruded hollow polymer tube that is approximately 3 mm diameter.  Shock-Tube is a flexible extruded hollow polymer tube that is approximately 3 mm diameter wound onto 3,000 to 4,000 meter recyclable spools.
