ZMW provides technical services throughout the life-cycle of explosives and propellant materials from innovative ideas all the way through formulation, raw materials evaluation, process chemistry, site planning, hazards analysis, risk management, production equipment design and sourcing, permitting, regulatory interface, public affairs, production equipment installation and commissioning, quality control, detonation testing, operator training, packaging design, governmental approvals, logistics, storage facility design and security, marketing and sales support, blasting and product use, recycling and explosive disposal solutions around the world.

ZMW assisted Special Devices, Inc. (USA) with technical sales support and interfaced with China
government for the approvals to install a new electronic digital detonator assembly line at Shanxi

• Design, permitting, regulatory compliance, public affairs, fabrication, commissioning, maintenance and technical support for fifty-one (51) new or upgraded explosives and propellant manufacturing facilities over the careers of the ZMW Principal Partners.
• Chosen by the US Government’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Alliant TechSystems, Inc. to solve technical problem of recycling former Soviet Union SS-24 and SS-19 ICBM propellant into emulsion explosives in Ukraine.
• UN Hazards Classification for more than forty-four (44) new explosives substances and articles.
• Observed explosives and detonator manufacturing in more than 550 US and foreign explosive, propellant and detonator production plants.
• Explosives formulation, production technology, design engineering and installation of new or upgraded industrial and government explosives production facilities
• Emulsion explosives technology, formulations, equipment, process management and plant installation
• ZMW provides technical services for manufacturing and safety for eight of the top ten multinational explosives producers and the top three largest multinational mining companies
• Studies involving explosives sales and marketing, explosives safety, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Explosives Hazards and Operability (HAZOP) Reviews
• Hazards classification facilitation of new explosives substances and articles in accordance with the United Nations standards: “The Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods” and the " UN Manual of Tests and Criteria"
• Respected and qualified regulatory interface involving energetic materials in more than twenty-two (22) countries world-wide
• Explosives expert witness testimony and legal support on cases involving explosives or rock blasting
